At the start of our stay we were given a room which was already occupied, and after a brief uncomfortable encounter, we returned to the front desk area to be greeted by a manager who more than made up for this - we were upgraded to a suite with a spectacular view. So my review will be forgiving of that blip in time....The staff throughout the hotel property were wonderfully warm, kind, and friendly - this sets the tone for a hotel stay and too often overlooked these days at other hotels and resorts - so thank you Fountainebleau for recognizing the great importance of a first impression and maintaining a standard of excellence in your service! The room was amazing, quiet, comfortable, updated marble bath, imac computer, very comfortable bed and linens (which is hugely important to me), and clean. Room service was excellent. The restaurants - we tried them all - were outstanding, but quite frankly every restaurant at which we dined was wonderful including the place next door to the Fountainebleau. Love the bar in the lobby. On to the spa - spent several afternoons there and each treatment was quite lovely. Would certainly rate it as one of the better hotel spas I've ever been to. We were here for five days and would return when in the area again.
