soaked carpet in room 338, a broken and usless aircon sysytem, bathroom taps that are nr impossible to turn off the weak water supply, no MANAGMENT due to the typical greed if SOUTH BEACH HOTELS where thye wont invest in decent staff ,like a day /night manager to oversee the running of the hotel, this hotel is basically run as a money grabbing business that has no one in control unless the actual manager is there, he is very difficult to get hold of, if hes not in NYC ,hes in the synagogue and too busy,
i checked out of the room /hotel at 10.30 am this morning , i eventually was handed to a phone from one of the stressed femail housekeeping staff, i have taken photos and eveidence of the soaked carpet to report this to the MIAMI beach health and saftey people,
To have the handy man arrive in my room while i was packing and blast me with a cloud of dudst from a filthy drying machine to begin the process of drying up the soaked carpet in time for the next poor guest of room 338.
DO NOT PURCHASE THE WIFI, this is more or less theft when they charge you on a credit card $26 + tax for 72 hrs of WIFI that simply doens work, they know it doesnt work , but still take you money, i am promised this back into my c/c but there was no forthcoming resolve or apology for accomodating me in a room with soaked carpet that has simply been speading germs into my lungs.
With no real managment in place in this larger than average 1.star hotel, i would highly RECOMEND u attempt to find somewhere else.
DONT STAY HERE till the managment and owners actually place a propper managment to oversee all the complications of this failing hotel.
i feel sorry for all the satff who are obvioulsy iunderpaid and left in a sad situation to take all the abuse and stress of the upset guest like myself who feel like they have been taken for a SERIOUS ride FROM A GREEDY hotel owner that simply doesnt care.
Room Tip: dont stay here full stop
