After reading several negative reviews of this hotel I was a little unsure if booking there would be a great idea. I went ahead and did it anyways at last minute. The property is located at a good spot. My boyfriend and I stayed @ the Maxine building on the second floor rm#259 right above their bistro. The music wasn't an issue at all. The room was small, neat and trendy. Very little lighting may I say. Old tv but who goes to South beach to watch tv? There was a over sized mirror which was a plus for me :) The bathroom was cute but only one person could use it at a time (good if you only plan to shower and keep partying). Shower had a half glass door and every time we showered the floor got wet so a towel had to be used on the floor each time. The tempur-pedic mattress was like sleeping on the clouds :) got to give it an A+. The food was excellent and the service as well. My only dislike was the closet (which had NONE). My clothes literally stayed in the luggage. Ironing was tedious... The hallways had very dim lights (not good if you had a couple of drinks) might end up trying to open someone else room, lol... The pool was a little dirty for me. I don't like swimming with leaves. I didn't encounter any rude staff members during my entire trip. Front desk was always courteous and helpful. I reserved a dinner on Ocean Drive and Laura was nice enough to print my voucher which I forwarded to her from my email. The female bartender from Israel @ the Red bar (don't recall her name) on Saturday night was very pleasant and friendly. Roberto @ the rooftop pool was very serviceable and made us laugh during our short stay. I recommend this hotel. Just be sure to double check what type of room is best for your needs. Would definitely go back but to a larger room with a bigger space to hang my clothes. Franchesca
