The beddest night of my trip in Florida. The hotes is kindly nice and located in a fantastic position (very close to ocean drive and the beach) but has no elevators. It was the dec. 31th and all the room are booked. I arrive in the afternoon to have the check in. The front desk give me the keys of the room and I discover a large and clean room; I was very happy.
But my happyness had a quck stop. In the room there are 2 doors, one for the bathroom and another one locked (in the beginning I think to a communicant room but was wrong). The door go into the water heater of all the rooms of the floor and all the time (night and day, 24h) produce wind and terrible noise!! The front desk do not change the room and the day after the manager told me that all is normal.... Be aware if you go to Clifton hotel, in the special request must write "room without water heater inside!!!"

I loved the Clifton Hotel. Check-in was quick and easy! We got there at 1 and check-in is not until 3, but the girl at the front desk was really sweet and let us check-in early! She always had a smile on her face and knew some of the best places to go. The door man was really nice and helped us carry our bags to our room which was great! The General Manager is almost always around if you need anything. Every time we saw him he asked how our stay was and if we needed anything. I watched him carry bags for another guest as well (How often does that happen?!) We stayed for 4 days and had an amazing time. I will definitely be back! Thanks for a wonderful vacation Clifton!

My gf and i stayed here for our vocation in USA. When i was booking this hotel it was rated at 4 stars ( bookit.com). I decided to make a reservation and i was hoping for a great time after all its Miami Beach. 
We came here after our cruise. At first i couldnt belive my eyes how badly it looks from outside. We walked in ( guy at the front desk was nice) we got the room on the 2nd floor just at the stairs. Problem#1 insted of king size bed we got 2 double beds (WTF???) i requested to change the room guy said that all rooms are booked -ok.
Problem #2. In one of the beds bedsheet had a huge hole in it ( 4 star hotel huh) 
Problem#3 there is no way its possible to get a good sleep here as you can hear everything that is going on in the hallway,next room and lobby ( there are always some random people  ) talking laughing and screaming. Problem#4 while we were away for four hours some one was in our room moved all our stuff and took the lightfixture. They told us house keeping ( who actually left 3 hrs ago ( thats what ive been told when i requested to change out bed sheet. ( nothing got missing but if u want to take something that belongs to the hotel why would you move our stuff around when its not on your way. ) the only good thing is location but there is a lot of nicer hotels for the same price. 
Will i ever return here? Never ever even if you pay me. 

I cannot recommend the Clifton. It was noisy all night with paper thin walls, yelling in the hall ways at 4:00 am and front desk not doing anything. The guest would keep slamming the doors for some reason. THere was no need to do it but they did it anyway,
It is a good hotel for someone with a low IQ.
In fact, I asked for wake up call my last day and never got it.
Almost missed my bus out of town
