A nice stylish small hotel in the heart of the Art Deco region, you are very well located for all of your South Beach needs.
Friendly front desk staff. Our room was of modest size but did contain all required amenities and we did like the funky modern style it had been decorated in. As others have commented they have some of THE comfiest beds around but the modern slatted blinds over the windows seem to leak in light (neon or daylight) from outside and we thought drapes/curtains would have darkened the room much better.
The bathroom was in the same dark/silver decor and appealing to the eye but loses a point for a big square sink with very low tap pressure and no plug - style over practicality?
We were on the first floor streetside so heard a lot of noise outside (spirit of the neighborhood - expected) but also from hotel staff & delivery using same corridor and storage rooms opposite early morning/late evening and being less than thoughful with banging doors - shame.
If you need a good breakfast try the News Cafe a few doors to the right of the entrance, if you want a good day out try the Big Red Bus for sightseeing a getting a feel for the area otherwise it's beach by day and party by night!
We enjoyed the hotel but it didnt quite hit the mark for us - trying too hard with small niggles that others may not experience but it appears to be good value considering the area.
