Very nice hotel with good Russian restaurant. The hotel has its swimming pool and nice beach place. But it is rather far from the city center what economizes money . You can take bikes or go by taxi to the center. it also has not an expensive parking which is very good. Nice rooms view.

Having read other reviews my travelling companions and I were worried at what we would find. There was no need to worry as the hotel was very basic but clean and the staff friendly.
The room easily accommodated 3 adults with room for the shopping we did and rearrangement of suitcase contents! The breakfast was basic but for $8 this could be upgraded to full American. We did not do this as the supplied cereal and toast was sufficient and tasty.
There are buses that run all over Miami from downtown to the malls for just $2 a journey just outside.
Taxis are just a call away across the road.
This was a very pleasant start to a cruise holiday and I would urge any guest to stay here if you are just after the basics for a quick trip to Miami

I did like the hotel. Before booking it, I checked the pictures that other travellers took, so nothing came as a suprise. I knew that the rooms and furniture are old and dated but it is not my priority when choosing a hotel. It was clean, with plenty of light, and - what is really nice - a kitchenette with a fridge, so we actually did not need to have breakfast outside (as it was not included into our room bill), and could have cold beers and hot snacks late in the evening, watching our favorite movies in the room. Another great thing about the hotel is its direct access to the beach - well, this is what you are coming to Miami for! If you plan to do something more than just staying at the beach, I think it is wise to get a car. You'd be able to go to the Everglades by yourself, visit Aventura Mall and other attractions.

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night before heading off on a cruise. The hotel was part of the package we booked so we had no choice. Arrival was eventful as they weren't expecting us. We had the booking from our tour operator and after speaking with the manager (who we didn't see) we were eventually checked in. Not sure who was at fault.

We were on the 8th floor. The corridor looked like a 70's hotel. It didn't feel like a modern Miami beach hotel. The room was big but very dated. The air conditioning unit was very noisy and we couldn't leave it on during the night.

This isn't a hotel I would select through choice. It is in a great location for the beach, but everything else is not so close. I wouldn't want to stay for longer than I did but I can see the attraction for some.

We didn't use any hotel amenities except the free wifi access.
