The glowing reviews must be from hotel mgmt. Hotel room was not clean...there was somebody's hair on the toilet seat. These guys will squeeze every dollar they can out of you. They hit you with a $20 mandatory "ammenity fee" which they told me is required by the City for all hotels located across the street from the beach. I checked with both the City and with Dade County and confirmed there is no such governement required fee or tax as hotel claimed. The ammenity fee does not actually cover the ammenities such as the internet which was an additional $15 and didn't even work. The one positive was that the hotel was well located. However aside from the location, overall a disappointing hotel. Definitely not 4 stars. Would not recommend

This hotel is within walking distance to so many South Beach restaurants, bars, nightclubs, etc. the staff is friendly and helpful and the room was sexy!

Just returned from a week at the Victor,the transition to Thompson Group by the GM Nico is going well,the service at the restaurant is lacking but please note the restaurant is owned and operated by a non-Thompson Company and should not reflect on the Thompson Group.The main flaw at the restaurant is the lack of lanquage communication skills.The singer on Sun,Mon,Wed. is the BEST in all of South Beach.Ghalub the singer enticed guests and walking spectators to stop and enjoy this exceptional talent.Nico is a Thompson asset!!!

Great location on South Beach, we often stayed here when it was owned and operated by Hyatt and got great Government rates, Excellent, Friendly customer service!! Reservation process was seamless. Last visit was under the new management (Thompson) not so great!!!!
