Even with discounted rates from Travelocity, this place wasn't worth it. The place needs a lot of updating. Also, if you have a problem don't expect any help because the staff is nowhere to be found. And I mean nowhere...there is no staff at the desk and no sign as to where they can be contacted. When we arrived in Feb '05, the elevator was broke, the A/C in our "ocean view" room was broke, the tv remote didn't work, the lock on the door didn't work, our key for the side door to get in didn't work and to top it off the hot tub on the roof didn't work. The room was old and needed new bathroom fixtures and at the very least, a new bedspread. The sheets seemed clean but the bedspread was disgusting. My last straw was the little, ant-like bugs in our room. Beware of their 72 hour cancellation policy because when we tried to check out the next morning, we were told we would be charged for three days. They finally let us go with only one night's charge but only after we all tromped to our room where we had to prove the A/C was broken. They charged our friends the full rate for their one night stay in a "city view" (brick wall) room instead of the discounted rate we had booked though. At that point it was worth it just to get out of there!
