Unfortunately, for a five star boutique hotel, not what we were expecting at all. Seems like time and money has been spent on the reception area and artwork, but not much else lately. Stayed in a two story bungalow overlooking the gardens which was a lot smaller and more worn/tired looking than appeared on the website. Main lounge lights went off when they felt like it, WIFI internet connection very poor for what was charged and sofa missing (based on what was shown on the floor plan). Would also have expected kitchenette to have had basic plates, cutlery and not have to ask every time we needed something. Bed was comfortable, but lighting in shower area was poor and shower had cracked tiles and cheap curtain that stuck to you. To top it off, and through no fault of the hotel, a new restaurant had opened up two doors down - with music until 1am on the first night and midnight the following two nights. Again, disappointing overall and won't be recommending or staying again.

We are constantly trying to maintain the quality of all of our rooms and we will definitely make note of your feedback regarding the room furnishings.
In regards to the kitchenette, we do provide plates and utensils which all can be requested at any time via the front desk. I apologize for the noise you experienced from next door as it seemed there was indeed a special event going on which cased a several problems for you.
