Just checked-in, with problems. First, I was greeted in a very rude way when arriving at the front desk at 3p.m. and inquiring about check-in procedures. I was simply told 'check-in is at 4 p.m., come back later'. I think I could have been greeted with a warmer welcome of the sort: We´ll assist you in a few minutes, check-in is at 4 but you may make yourself at home and wait in our lounge. Here is the ticket for parking, and you can hand it in to the valet and they will park the car for you. Second thing, valets don't know a word in English!!! And five minutes after giving the car keys to them and asking them if I could go and fetch something in the car, they had no clue where the key was... and all this for 17 bucks a day! Third, I booked my room through hotéis.com for four people, and have just been informed that my family is entitled to only two continental breakfasts. I called the desk front for clarification and they said they can't do anything because I did not book directly with the hotel and that I should contact the company to solve this matter... let's see what will happen in the next three days!!!

We got sent here by best at travel for 3 nights before our cruise - we stayed 1 night and checked out and paid ourselves for better hotel - it is a lovely position and the pool area looked ok but the hotel needs lots of money spent on it!!!!
On arrival we were given a KEY for our room the halls smelt of bad cooking and the other guest seemed to live there with extra padlocks on the doors - so security may have been an issue, would not want people to stay here without knowing these things - if you on a cruise we stayed at Cambria suites in fort lauderdale which is lovely and right by the port.

First off the hotel is clean, nice pool, great food and drinks in restaurant. The problem is when renting a condo get one with upgrades, and the distance from this hotel to south beach is far. $17.00 in cab but $2.00 on bus. Being I'm from the city I had no problem with public transportation. I honestly think this place is for seniors. It's very quiet....almost to quiet. It is walking distance to walgreens and 7-11 across the street. T-mobile dioesnt work at all in the building.

i booked this room thru daniel and he was a jewel. we had a corner room with a view of both the ocean and the street. yes the hotel is older, but it looked well maintained to us. anything we needed we were able to receive. the pool was nice as was the beach. the 7-11 across the street was nice to have to grab a quick snack or even donuts for breakfast. i would stay here again and i would book my stay thru daniel. thanks
