We have stayed at the Palms 6 or more times and are always glad to return. But, there is major construction next door. Jackhammers etc within earshot of the Palms usually quiet pool. If you want quiet te at the pool, better look elsewhere for now.

We (two adults and two kids) stayed a week in the Palms hotel in Miami and it was an amazing stay! The hotel itself is very modern and clean. It has an amazing feel to it. Immediately when you walk into the lobby you relax and get the vacation atmosphere! Staff in the hotel are really friendly and helpful! Hotel was also very clean.

The pool area was fantastic and had a really nice spot with sant as well. Nice pool bar with affordable prices. Food in the restaurant in the evenings was fantastic! A first class restaurant! The beach is a short walk.

There are cafes and shops a short walk from the hotel.

We had an amazing week and would definitely stay here again!!!

we enjoyed the hotel as a family. Good breakfast and diners. Good service. Very nicely decorated. we enjoyed the view.

I spent a week in Miami beach, first at Loews then at the Palms. The Loews was significantly more expensive on every front...I imagine the location at 16th street must be one of the reasons. It was filled with conventioneers, noisy, crowded and a general disappointment.
Arriving at the Palms was really a breath of fresh air. While it's not as new as Loews, it has the charm and ambiance of an old Miami. Not art deco - but a peaceful old world feel. The pool area was surrounded by a forest of palms and fabulous pots of tropical vegetation. It was absolutely immaculate. The food was spectacular, whether by the pool, room service or on the veranda...we are talking first rate. And best of all, they don't attract the obnoxious, noisy crowd of the Loews.
