“Tremendous south beach vacation”

We have been going to south beach during mid january for past 10 yrs adn the last 2 yrs we stayed at the Savoy. The first time we were surprised at the convenience to ocean drive w/o the noise plus the hotel has so much europena charm and is right on the beach...we really enjoyed our first experience. that brought us back the 2nd year...that's when we were blown away...the employees are all amazing and 1st class friendly and genuinely concerned with their guests..our rooms are updated this time and modernized...but still with the charm and the bar/restaurant service for breakfast and lunch is unparallelled and along the lines of being in a ritz carleton w.o all the fuss...our chef eddie made sure we had fresh fruit with our oatmeal, our waitress connie made sure our oatmeal came out with shaved cinnamon..carlos made wonderful recommendations for dinner and carleton was a super bartender with upmost politeness and class...manager Gary and his wife have really made a difference in the way the staff treats the guests and we will be sure to return every year and look forward to seeing the staff again! we recommend this hotel to everyone!

It has been WONDERFUL. Big beautiful one bedroom suite is what we had. Today is the day we leave... :( Stars to Richard at the front desk . As well as Rocky at the pool. Who serves up "awesome drinks" and directions to where the nearest camera shop is. This has been a wonderful stay.

One suggestion.. Get flags for the beach chairs for guest to raise when they are ready for another drink. Otherwise; the beach is top. Just show up and they take care of you from there.

I will be back.

Room Tip: stay in touch with them even after the reservation is made. Let them know your desires. Pool view...

“Wonderful hotel with beautiful garden and pools, next to the beach”

From the 7 times I stayed in Miami, this hotel is definitely my favorite. A gorgeous garden with palm treas and two kidney formed pools. One heated like a hot tub. And through the gate, you got to the beach. Very clean hotel. And lovely service. Great breakfasts and lunches avalaible, not included. I payed extra to have a suite with pool view. Even saw the beach. And it was worth it. Very big lounge with kitchenette, tv, couch and chair. Beautiful bedroom, big bed with clean sheets and very big bathroom with seperate bath and shower. Storage cupboards everywhere. Compared to other hotels as the Cardozo and South Seas, the space was great for not more money. So a great deal. Loved the place. It is a bit further out from Lincoln Road. But the busses stop at Washington and 5th, a few minutes walk. And they take you to Lincoln Road, the malls and even the 150 Airport Flyer stops there.

I don't feel so enthusiastic about this hotel. Yes, the rooms are big but not special or something else. The carpet was old ( I hate carpets) and the staff was average. I don't think that $300 a night is that...

“Great location - great service!”

My wife and I spent 3 nights at this hotel last week. It offers a supreme location right on the ocean and next to the big park on Ocean Drive. We loved the balcony and the view! The staff was terrific, including the desk clerks, the bellman, the restaurant/bar employees, the beach attendants and the manager. They have two large pools (one heated) and comfortable lounge chairs to sit, read, enjoy the sunshine and some cocktails. We thought the food was excellent. You can also just walk to the all the restaurants on Ocean Drive.

This is in a perfect, convenient location. I personally don't like to spend a great deal of money on my hotel. The Savoy is reasonably priced and provides everything my wife and I need. I would highly recommend it to all. I know we will be returning next year!
