I was looking for a hotel close to the Miami Beach Convention Center, and found this one just just 2 blocks away. It's also just up the street from the Lincoln St. walking mall (lots of restaurants). So it's a good choice if you mainly just need a place to sleep for a couple of nights and don't want to spend $200 or more per night. The rooms and bathrooms are bit small, and you can tell it was built before modern conveniences became standard. For example, the A/C units was a small built-ins... but it was relatively new, and had a digital thermostat. The walls are a bit thin, so some earplugs might be handy if you have noisy neighbors. But otherwise I found the room to be relatively clean and functional, with a new wall-mounted 32' flat-panel TV with 60-odd channels, 2 beds, a phone, and a small desk. The beds were clean and comfortable... and they each had 4 nice pillows and a reading light. The rooms and bathrooms have been updated in a modern style. There's a small but working elevator. The young lady at the front desk was very friendly, efficient, and helpful. The included breakfast was pretty basic, and I don't think there was a pool. But what do you expect for around $120/night in South Beach? Overall, I'd definitely recommend it for budget convention travelers.

I love how close this hotel is to the mall and the beach, only 3-4mins walk. It's a 3.5star basic hotel but clean enough. Being so close to the action, my room was still relatively quiet. Can't fault it, given the price and location.

My friends and i went ti Miami a few months ago and the Greenview hotel was ok for the cost. The only isses we really had was they were painting but idn't put up a wet paint sign and one of my friends leaned directly on the wet wall and ruined an outfit. The worse part was that the housekeeper took our old dirty clothes and swimsuits and threw them on our bed to get out of actually making the beds up. When we came from the beach we were very confused because we were sure we cleared the bed before we left for the beach. When we looked at the stuff on the bed we knew we didnt do it. The floor towel that we stood on when we got out of the shower was even on the bed. we will never stay there again...

clean room and decent bed. Service was good and they had complementary breakfast.
