We booked two rooms; a one bed apartment and a two bedroom. The one bedroom was a bit small, but adequate, the two bedroom was a good size. Everything about the hotel for South Beach was great. Near the entertainment, near the beach , near the shopping. So you have SOBE at your door step. The price for parking was $35 valet and $20 for self parking. We were told by the hotel that there was a parking garage on 16th st (one block away for $16) , we parked there. My party stayed for three days and two nights, once we parked the car in the garage we thought we were going to use it. Wrong!!! Everything is close or within walking distance from this Hotel. Didn't see the car again until the day of departure. The upsides of the hotel, location, location; Lincoln Road a block away; In both rooms the beds were A+ and very comfortable, the showers were great, water temp and pressure; Hated to get out of shower, but South Beach was waiting; pool wonderful; Service and staff had no problems
The downsides of the hotel, internet was a little choppy and the restauraunt was pricey. Overall; no way is this a five star hotel, however it is a great 3-3/1/2 hotel in the midst of South Beach. The average age of our party was 30-45. So not real party goers, however enjoyed the stay and Miami. I will try to stay there again

This is your excellent no-nonsense hotel! This hotel is were you want to be, close to were the activitiy is. Special compliments for the ever-friendly and very helpful staff! Thumbs up!

Considering the location of this hotel on South beach and the price I think it is a good deal. I would recommend requesting a room that is not facing the main street. The first night we stayed in a very nice, big room on the 6th floor but at 2am we realized that there is a nightclub directly in front of the hotel. The next day we asked for a new room and our request was met without any problems. The hotel itself is a bit older but it is only 2 blocks from the beach, 1 block from shopping, restaurants and bus stops connecting you to any part of the city.

Just returned from 5 nights here - first visit to Miami. Warm welcome at reception. Good size twin room kept very clean each day. Excellent uncrowded swimming pool. Location also very good - short walk to beach, shops, restaurants. Free computer for internet access a bonus. And very quiet!!! I visited some of the other hotels I had considered and was glad I didnt book them - very loud music for most the night next to the accomodation would not have impressed me. Bus to the airport just across the road $2.35 and bang on time. Would return to Miami beach and the Albion when I have saved up to pay the extortionate service charges automatically added by most bars and restaurants - surprised they didnt tax you to leave their premises. But not the fault of the hotel! Albion very much recommended.
