My boyfriend and another couple stayed one night only a sunday night here. The vallet parking was full and there is NO parking. You must park your car blocks down and the shuttle which never shows up is to bring you back and forth (we walked). The lobby will fool you as they spend all of their upgrades there. The staff were rushed and un-educated. We got moved from our room 2 times. We were on the 16th floor full ocean view and there was blood splatter on our fridge and the bed was broken no springs in the mattress. The second room we moved to the toliet didnt flush and the AC wouldnt turn down. Finally after wasting an hour or more of moving rooms which we could have been sight seeing we got a half decent room that had dirty white sheets. VERY DATED the hallways smelled of urine.

Loved it, Loved it!!!! Absolutely beautiful Lobby. Very Antique setting and warm ambiance from the staff especially Front Desk. They welcome you upon check-in. I cant begin to tell you how much of a wonderful stay me and my Boyfriend had at The Deauville this first week of January the new year.
We stayed on the Executive level (1624) and it was a good stay. We received Housekeeping everyday.
Only One small problem i had which is not a biggie, and it the ipod Dock which was not in the room.But i overlooked it and we enjoyed the beautiful beach.The board walk was right there behind the hotel.For the price it was good, and i will most definately return to this property.

The Deauville exceeded our expectations...4 star in my books!! It's old but so are the rest of the buildings in South Beach... Duh!
Excellent service, always cleaning, huge hotel, huge pool, hop skip n a jump to Ocean private beach with lawn hairs , umbrellas... Beach service... Wow...I stayed in the executive suite ocean front... Can't get no better than that and I will definitely go back... Oh yah, I also brought my teenage kids who were very comfortable and very SAFE!! I let them go about their business with no worries.... Highly recommend this beautiful historic hotel ...4 star ++

I loved it! The hotel is very Well kept and the rooms are very spacious. The environment and the service was impeccable and the view from my room balcony was to die for. I stayed in room 1411 which overlooks the ocean and enjoyed waking up to that view every morning. The service was great, everyone was very welcoming and nice. The lobby is gorgeous and always very well maintained. I will definitely be coming back to this location on every one of my stays in Miami.
