“Anniversary weekend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2012

We only stayed one night, but the staff and hotel made quite an impression. Our room was ready early and when we arrived a bottle of chilled Prosecco was waiting for us. What a nice, thoughtful touch. Loved the ambiance the lighting created in the room - which was very cozy. Also loved the chandelier. We're sticklers for a good shower and the room provided it. Even though it was cold out, we ventured to see the rooftop pool/bar - very cool. We can't wait to visit again.

“Great stay”

We were here for the weekend and enjoyed every minute. Quite South Beach hotel, trendy but not snobby. Great experience all around.

“A wonderful stay at Dream South Beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

My husband and I booked a 2 night stay at the hotel based on reviews we read online. We were not disappointed. The location on Collins Ave. was walking distance to Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road. Also, there were several shops and restaurants on Collins Ave. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. They do charge a mandatory $8 resort fee, that includes free internet access, beach towels/umbrellas and the rooftop pool. We availed of the internet and wonderful rooftop pool. The bed was very comfortable. The lighting system took some figuring out, but overall we enjoyed the subtle lighting in the room. I would definitely stay here again.

The concierge was very helpful overall, and we booked a tour of the Everglades . However, I was very disappointed with this tour and surprised that this wonderful hotel chooses to work with Admiral tours that did not take us to the actual Everglades National Park, but to a privately owned alligator park on the rim of the Everglades. This was not indicated in the brochure and not worth the price we paid. I would not be inclined to book a tour through the hotel if they continue to work with overpriced tour companies.

“A "dream" in the heart of South Beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

My husband and I got a great last minute rate on this hotel and were eager to stay here. This boutique hotel surpassed all of our recommendations. The rooms were very swanky and the art deco vibe emanated throughout the entire hotel. From the mood lighting in the room, to the ultra large comfy king bed and huge 2 person shower...everything was very clean, modern and what one would expect a 5-star boutique hotel in South Beach to have. The roof top pool was our favorite though. The sun beds are super comfy and from the roof deck there is a beautiful ocean view. The location is prime...right in the middle of all of the restaurants, bars and shopping areas, yet just far enough away from the craziness of South Beach. Two minor tips however...ask for a room that is on the "quiet side" of the hotel. On Friday and Saturday night we could hear the low hum of the club beats down the street. We did not ask to change rooms because we figured out that if we turned the AC vent on it drowned the noise out. But, hey, you are in South Beach, so this is to be expected. In addition, the drinks at the roof top bar and small and pricey...but again, hey, you are in South Beach and cocktails ANYWHERE do not come cheap. Will 100% stay here again on our next trip to Miami Beach.

Room Tip: Ask for one of the "quieter rooms," so that you can get a better night's sleep and not...

“It was good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012 via mobile

We enjoyed, although there are some considerations. The lights in the room are good for the party but We missed the possibility to light completely the room sometimes. The parking was expensive and they lost our car keys, but fortunatelly they've found in the next day.
