Great place to stay; clean, large rooms with full kitchen facilities (great way to save money) just round corner from famous Ocean Drive and all the night life; and Miami Beach!!! and on Collins all the Designer stores for shopping!! Mitch the owner is a great guy; and always available if needed; and Jamie the head of cleaning a real sweet person; and of course one can't forget Little Maggie the Guard Dog for the hotel!! Another great point is the security as one must have key to enter building which very few places on South Beach have!!

All in all Sherbrooke Hotel is the place to stay when in South Beach Miami!! This was my fourth return visit and there will be many more to come.

The Sexy Canadian

Great location but not as fresh and clean as it looks on their website. It’s very noisy all night. Bring your own towels as the ones provided are like thin tea towels. The place really needs a good clean and some maintenance but you have to remember you’re only paying a fraction of the price that you would pay for other hotels / apartments in the area so I guess you can’t really complain. Security was good. There are tour guides in the lobby most of the day. Make sure you negotiate your price though as they will start of high. Check the internet prices for the same tours and bring them down on price. The prices vary for this hotel. I got an excellent rate of $160 for two nights for an apartment with two beds, kitchen and bathroom.

We stayed five nights at the Sherbrooke. We got a great last minute deal and from what I read, contacting Mitch the caretaker directly will result in the best deals. The room had a well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, aircon, etc. It made for a very nice stay. Some people have commented that they didn't like the fact there was no lobby...get over it! The fact that there are residents who live in the building and that you need a key to actually get into the building is a sign of the security and ease with which to check in/out. We turned up and one of the nice guys at the tours desk who operate out of the ground floor directed us straight to our room. We met Mitch a little later and he gave us a welcome and told us what we needed to know. Overall, the location is great, one block back from the beach and hecticness of Ocean Drive. When we return to South Beach, we will definitely stay at the Sherbrooke once more.

chosen this place because of price and proximity to the beaches. The location is really great! 5 minutes walk to all shops, beaches, cafes, etc. some tips: there is a kitchen, so you can cook on your own, there is no room cleaning (the guy just takes away trash, and changes towels upon request, that is all!), and the floor under the bed is terrible dusty! they have wifi. For unexpensive stay it is the right choice!
