I stayed for 4 nights it this rather lovely hotel whilst in Miami with a couple of friends. The hotel it's self was large, clean and friendly. The big marble floored lobby was quite impressive and had a small bar in the middle and a coffee shop in one corner, the restaurant was tucked away around a corner. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times, but frankly we found it to be a little bit too expensive for what it was....although the food was good. The hotel boasts free wifi, which was pretty quick and the rooms were cleaned daily. The sofa bed was not in the slightest bit comfortable to sleep on, and we had to put it up/down by ourselves. The gym was suffiecient, but a bit dated, and could have done with some tlc, just little things like padding had broken of weight machines and the machines were not nicely lined up and had water marks streaking down them. The outside pool on floor 7 was cold but deserted and it was great to swim under the stars (kids not allowed in this one). But of the 2 jacuzzis on that floor only one worked and that was very half hearted! The pool outside on ground level was beautiful, but not surprisingly full of kids. There were palm trees all around and loungers etc. From the pool area you can walk straight out onto the beach, which was lovely! All in all I was very impressed with our room, and the cleanliness and also the friendliness of the staff. A point to note is that all the nearby restaurants with the exception of a small few (that we could find) are all rather pricey, so if you're on a budget you might need to be a little less further out.
