Outdated, seedy, very well worn. Staff was pleasant and accommodating, but that couldn't make up for all the deficiencies. Supposed to be nonsmoking but reeked of cigarette smoke. Poor excuse for a breakfast, even a "continental" one. Practically no water pressure in shower, had to wait 5-10 minutes to get hot water. I could go on, but why waste time typing. Just avoid this place.

stayed one nite before traveling on, what a disappointment, paid 100 for a studio suite, hard to find parking, hard to find entry to building and then no signs for elevators or location of room. got there, was disappointed further by small cheaply outfitted room, collection of mismatched dishes and a Large hole in bottom of freezer, (how does that happen) Had trouble with shower promptly taken care of by nice staff member. Desk chair and free wi-fi best part of stay.

Needing a place to stay after our cruise, I found the TownePlace Suites to be a reasonably priced option. Good size rooms with a small kitchen, but nothing spectacular. Beds were relatively comfortable and clean, but the complimentary breakfast was small and cramped in the lobby of the check-in area. Nice pool, but placed outside the hotel right in the middle of the parking lot. Speaking of location, the hotel is in the middle of an industrial park in the middle of nowhere. If you're looking for a hotel near the action, skip this one. If you're looking for a good value near the airport, this is the one.

We were traveling with our two daughters and we needed a place close to Miami Airport on our last night. We chose this hotel because we needed sleeping room for four and a fridge.

It actually had a full kitchen, which more than met our needs, and it would be great for those with children in the nearby hospital. In fact, this hospital caters to those individuals, not necessarily to travelers.

The sofa sleeper was disappointingly small, maybe a double, with a pretty bad mattress. The girls ended up putting it on the floor and that was only slightly more comfortable. We had to walk to the reception area to get linens for the mattress and they didn’t fit.

Getting to the rooms are inconvenient. The entrance to the building is a long way from the elevator/stairs. Once inside, you have to pass by lots of people’s rooms in order to get to the elevator then, once up on your floor, you have to walk back down the hall to your room. You could potentially disturb two full floors of guests on your way to your room, unless you want a room right by the elevator, which would be noisy.

We thought the room décor was pretty bad. The carpet was especially dirty and outdated. We did not try eating or shopping in the surrounding neighborhood, so I cannot comment on that.

In all, for the price, it wasn’t a bad hotel for a one-night stay. I would not want to stay for an extended period of time. The staff was friendly and helpful and did a good job despite the on-going renovations. The breakfast was okay.
