We stayed at this property in Jan. We were looking for a hotel with a Park, Stay and Go package so we could leave our car while we flew out of the Miami airport to the Carribean. We found the hotel to be clean, rooms spacious and little airport noise. The shuttle to the airport was very good ... had only a short wait when we returned from our trip. The parking also met our needs ... gaited with an attendant. Our only complaint was with the front desk. When we checked in they did not give us the vouchers for a free continential breakfast which was a part of our package. When we went down to eat the next moring before an early flight we were told we needed that. The front desk told us that it was not a part of our package and since i did not have the confirmation with me had to go back up to the room to get it. Another wait to be helped just took too much time so we had no breakfast that morning. They did give us credit for the breakfast which we used when we returned but they just were not nice about it ... no apology ... just O.K. we will add it to the return. I sure was glad i had the email confirmation and recommend that everyone be sure to bring it ... if it had just been a phone call we would not have gotten it. By the way it was a great breakfast. I would stay here again

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of January prior to flying home, the only real positive was the closeness to Miami Airport. Rooms could have been cleaner, especially bathrooms. Doors to rooms do not fit properly so masses of noise and light flooded in from corridor, together with paper thin walls meant that sleep evaded us! Not many restaurants nearby and the area was not really "comfortable" to explore. We will choose another of Miami airport's area to stay at next time.

I had stayed in this hotel a few times in the past and I used to enjoy the little lavender spray for sheets and the nice music system with relaxing music. This time, none of these was available, or if it was, it was not in my room. After about 20 min trying to check in (some problem with the reservation our assistant made that had me sharing the room with a colleague who had spend the previous night there) I was ready to go to the room. The front desk lady, nice enough, ensured me that nobody should be in the room as she had called...well, sure enough the room had someone (and not my collegaue as he was already in a different country) as I opened the door. After closing quickly I went back and asked to speak to a manager. He was less responsive than the front the desk lady about the incident, and seemed to care little that I had been trying to get to my room for more than 20 min and that I walked back and forth, up and down and up gain with a bad back and pulling my luggage in carpet. Luckily, the front desk lady sent someone to help me with the luggage to my new unoccupied room. I definetively will go to the Hilton next time and advise my colleagues to do the same.

Our flight from Central America had an overnight connection in Miami. This hotel is close to the airport and has a free shuttle so it fit our needs. The staff was very helpful, the room was large and included a safe, coffee maker and fridge. It is an older hotel but has been well maintained and updated. The bed was very comfortable! We didn't eat there (breakfast was not included) so no comments about the restaurant.

We had never been to Miami before so stopped at the airport tourist info to see what we might be able to do for the evening. He told us about an inexpensive shuttle from the airport down to South Beach ($5 round trip). Rather than take a taxi (~$70 round trip) from the hotel, we took the free shuttle back to the airport (5 min ride) then took the shuttle from there to South Beach--a significant savings! The return trip was the reverse. The tourist guy as well as hotel concierge gave us suggestions as to where to go and we had a great night!
