Once I got here I noticed that the approach path to the airport passed just ontop of the hotel but with the rest of the service and the great rooms that is not going to be noticed much. Some people will not even notice!
The location is very good because it is close to highways but it is not heared. I really liked the rooms because it comes with a kitchen so we dont have to go out every day.

My husband and I often stay in Residence Inns and like them for the comfort of the room and the full breakfast. The room was very comfortable and there is a nice pool, jacuzzi and tennis court on the premises. Some of the Inns have better breakfast setups than others and I would say this one was at the low end of the spectrum. The wireless access wasn't working in the room when we got there and although someone responded promptly to try to fix it, it didn't really get fixed before we left (and the manager was very apologetic to me about it). This hotel is in the flight path of landing planes so I don't recommend this location for guests who want to sleep during the day but there wasn't much noise at night. It took us about 15 minutes to drive to Miami Beach from this hotel and it is also 15 minutes from the airport/rental car return center.

I recently stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn near the MIA Airport. The location is great for easy access to the airport. I had a seminar that ended at 4.30 and I had a 6pm flight. I made it there with plenty of time. The room was surprisingly well equipped - full-size fridge, small stove, microwave, coffee maker, even a dishwasher! If I were staying for a longer period of time, esp. with a family and wanted to cook in, it would've been great.

We stayed here for one night before we flew home after a cruise. The room could use a little upgrading, but it was ok. If you are staying with multiple people, note that he sink and mirror is outside of the bathroom, which makes it hard to get ready without waking everyone else up. The amenities are excellent such as the refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, etc. The inn was located within a business park area, which made me feel a little uncomfortable at night because there was nothing around. Make sure you have a rental car if you are staying here! There is a Publix, shopping center, gas station, and fast food within 5 minutes driving distance. It's close to the airport, which was really nice since we had to leave at 8. If you're easy going I think it's a fine place to stay.
