This hotel is in a pretty good location to get around to area attractions. The restaurant downstairs is a little too expensive for what they offer. The rooms are a little small.

We stayed here pre cruise. We won this hotel on priceline for $100. The staff was very accommodating. I thought the lobby was laid out very well. You can get a Starbucks coffee-a beer or dinner all from the same counter-very convenient. The rooms are a little dated but clean. This hotel is very close to ,Marshalls, CVS, and Ross. It is also near one our favorite restaurants-Polo Tropical-We do not have any of these in South Jersey. I would not reccomend this hotel for a long vacation stay but it fit the bill for us.

I stayed here one night to get away from my obnoxious roommate at the nearby Hyatt where we had been staying to atten a two week long school function. in any case, the rooms here were much more comfortable...and cheaper! Nice pool. And a laundry room! And free wi-fi internet!

My only complaint was that the staff here are a little intrusive. I was given the third degree at check-in and the staff at the market gave my companion a hard time when he went to get some snacks. Seriously, Marriott staff, give your guests some privacy!

There are plenty of better alternatives in the downtown Miami area. Not at all impressed with this Courtyard. Noisy AC in the room and no thermostat so you spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to set the AC. The Internet access is like syrup, not even good enough to stream a Netflix movie. Only Decaf in the room for coffee. TV stations not working and when I asked the front desk how to get CBS to work I was told by the staff he wasn't knowledgable of how the TV selection worked so there was nothing he could do.

Probably the worst part of the stay so far is the unscheduled wake up call that rang my room at 5 AM this morning wishing me a great day and welcoming me to the Marriott. I stay at Marriott properties all over the world this one is subpar, its not in a nice area, its a bit run down, the closets are so small the hangers stick out the door and the staff doesn't seem to care. Avoid this place and go somewhere else.
