When I write a review I try my best to be fair and it only reflects my personal experiences, however, this does not means that everyone it's going to go through my same experiences. I was visiting a friend that I have not seen for nine years and she happen to be in miami at a conference, so we made plans to see each other. I drove four hours from Orlando to Miami just to be able to spend a few hours with her. I tried getting a room at the same hotel, however, it was 100% full, but I decided to go up to her room and see her anyways.
The VALET! that is if "I" can call this person a VALET... charged me $12 dollars for parking, when I asked him why was he charging me $12 dollars, he said that it was because I was staying overnight!!! I told the employee that No, I was not staying, he replied that I still had to pay the $12 dollars. I tried speaking to him in English and He didn't understand much...I spoke to him in Spanish and he said "Little spanish" and started laughing!!
After so many minutes trying to talk to this employee I finally decided that enough was enough and that I just wanted to go see my friend.
I took my car and parked it myself, because he said that I could do it, but with an attitude. funny, I paid for VALET parking, but I parked myself...OK..no problem.
After spending about 30 minutes with my friend and after making plans for the next morning, I went to pick up my car and this same employee came up to me and said " I bet your car is saying...Let me go..let me go..., because YOU SURE DON"T DESERVE A CAR LIKE THAT ONE!!!!!!!!!
I said "EXCUSE ME?"... The employee said, "Yea, this is a very nice car and you sure don't deserve it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....Honestly speaking I don't want to know the reason as of why in the world he'll say anything like that to me.
Oh my God, was I fumming!! Yes, I was very upset, however,I kept my kool and did not say a word to him, however, time will come when he'll learn to respect and know the true meaning of "Customer Service."
It's not going to be my doing the reason why this employee one day will find himself without a job, time will take care of it and his mouth is going to be the reason for his troubles.
P.S ..The employee wasn't letting anyone park in the regular parking spaces... that is why I end up in 'VALET" parking!! I tried looking for management and no-one was available.
Room Tip: Do not go during any conventions!! should not pay for parking!!! only if you want Valet parking, if...
