If you are coming into town and need a place near the airport that has great food by room service and just a comfortable room this place is fine. However, it bills itself as high end and is very noisy and the halls have no ice makers. Rooms are clean and it's near lots of "stuff" on that end of town. I only give this place an average rating.

Entire party loved the hotel. Visit was excellent.

There were 4 in our part and we had two rooms the Friday night before Labor Day. We took a taxi from MIA to the hotel for about $25. There was some traffic, but nothing major.

Two in my party had never been to Miami before and loved everything about the hotel and the location. Our view was of the downtown skyline. It was very nice.

The room was very clean and beds quite comfortable.There is a small store in the lobby. Looked to have some specialty items and was a little pricey. We walked to Bayside for drinks and hung out for a while. As we went back to the hotel, someone was having a white party. A boat was docked next to the hotel where many were parking before boarding. Lots of lobby foot traffic.

My sister thought the breakfast to be the best she's had a hotel. We purchased the buffet because it was the easiest thing to do as one in our party is not very mobile. While I cannot recall the exact cost, it was quite pricey.

The front desk staff, bellman and concierge...were all SUPER EXCELLENT!!! It is because of their service that I wanted to ensure to get this review posted. There were all so kind and friendly.

My hotel of choice for a pre-cruise stay.

I stayed at the Intercontinental for just one night for business, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The rooms have apparently just been upgraded, and everything was stylish and clean - with a great view. If you're doing business in downtown Miami, this is the place to stay.

I stayed 1/28/12 along with 3 girlfriends for a bachelorette party. From the start everything was flawless especially considering the hotel was sold out due to the ING marathon. We were staying in a suite on the 31st floor - amazing view!!! The room had a separate sitting area with a sofa, 2 chairs with a big coffee table and another small cafe table with chairs. Plenty of room to have guests over. There was a flat screen tv and a bar. The room had a half bath on one side and on the opposite side was a full bath with shower and a separate bathtub. Our favorite part, besides the two huge windows for the city and water views, was the makeup spot next to the room. They had a mirror and stool so all the girls had there own space to get ready. As you can see we looooved the room. We also had a massage at the spa and that was a hit too! Even though it's a high end hotel, you felt comfortable and welcomed, not stuffy. The spa was beautiful and lots of things to choose from. It was only for 1 night but oh what a night!
