We had an overnight flight into Miami airport and not knowing any of the hotels chose this one due to the Brand name and the low price. The shuttle took a long time to pick us up. The front desk person was nice enough and from the oudside the hotel looked ok. The main problem for us was the smell of smoke. It was really overpowering in the hallways and the room itself smelled of smoke. The bedspread needed changing and the room was not spotless but nothing too bad. The hotel was ok for just one night but if we had to stay here on holiday I think we would probably have found somewhere else. We had to leave before breakfast so can not comment on that. The shuttle back to the airport was fine.

This kind of hotel is the worst and dirtiest I've ever stayed in.. You arrive and park, and until this moment it looks everything ok, except that you have to pay extra for parking. Then, you enter your room and a bad smell comes over you! You try to open the windows and it is impossible!! They are sealed! And receptionist doesn't know anything!! You reach the peak when you find blood on the towels and hair on the worn sheets!!

Please do not stay here. The smell of smoke, the sketchy elevator (door opened and closed and dipped before moving), the attached local nightclub, the seriously dated rooms, the clogged water pipes in the bathroom, hair in the sink...disgusting...

I stayed here during a five hour layover and I thought I could deal with a 1 or 2 star hotel for five hours. Wow....I can rough it in the forest more than I can stay in this hotel. Do yourself a favor -if you have to go cheap, at least go cheap and clean.

I chose this hotel because I thought that it would be a bit higher quality than the other hotels with airport shuttles. After waiting about an hour, my shuttle came (I had landed at 5pm and had to fly out the next morning). I got to the hotel. Quick check-in. Since I had no dinner on the plane, I asked about nearby restaurants. Restaurant in hotel was closed. The nearest was Wendy's - 10 mins in the pouring rain. I was grateful when the front desk clerk gave me a menu of a local take-away and told me to call him and he would order for me; thus, I would avoid the 85 cent local phone call charge. No mention on the menu of delivery charges. I order a $6.70 sandwich. When delivered, I had to go to the front lobby to pick it up and pay $12. Went through hallways that reeked of smoke to my room which, although officially non-smoking, still had a lingering smell of smoke. Rather cheap decor. I put my laptop on the desk only to find that the nearest plug-in was half-way across the room. I went to the bathroom - found a small bottle of shampoo (no conditioner or lotion) available. The next morning, I checked out - included among the charges was a $2 per night, plus tax, room safe charge - which I never used. The in-hotel restaurant opened at 8am for breakfast - I had to catch the 7:30am shuttle to make my flight. Advice - bring own food or stay elsewhere. Also, I hope you do not have a smoke allergy.
