Stayed a couple of nights here Jan2012, used car to access with no parking problems either in front of hotel or adjacent parking lot.
Ok, it's a mid price hotel with dare I say mid price clientelle but it proved to be perfectly usable and comfortable.
The counter staff are welcoming and friendly, the rooms do look dated but are big with comfortable beds. A lick of paint and tidy up wouldnt go amiss but it is adequate, I wouldnt call it unclean just well used!
The breakfast is a fairly basic mix of cereal/waffle/fruit/coffee juices etc. I noticed a Denny's and McD's a modest walk from the hotel but there isnt much else nearby.

You are unlikely to be using this as a holiday destination but it is fine for a short stop very close to Miami airport and I felt safe around site at all times.

The room was adequate, and the staff was friendly. In order to make use of the Wi-Fi, you have to sit through a long advertisement prior to connecting. The food at the restaurant was barely edible. I'm sure we will stay in this area in the future, but it will not be at this motel.

At check-in the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. If you happen to have a car with you good luck with the parking as its a nightmare at this hotel. When we got to our room, for what we paid, I was really disappointed in the overall quality of the room. It was rather shaggy and didn't look to be the cleanest of rooms we've stayed in but it was decent. If you plan on using the internet best of luck to you as it was like using dial-up and continued to kick me off so many times I finally gave up. If you need to call the front desk because you need something or as with us we didn't have a working remote you probably won't get it. After fifteen minutes the desk called back to say sorry housekeeping was closed so they couldn't help. Overall this is an okay hotel but for the price its not worth it. Go right across the street to the Sleep Inn as we did on the second night and you'll be much happier.

I just had a quick two day stint in Miami for business. Meeting my boss and needed a functional place that wasn't "Miami" priced. Optioned for the airport since the other party was staying close by at another hotel. The hotel was strictly utilitarian. Check-in was 15+ minutes, parking was convenient. Shortcomings: heat did not work, drain in bath tub would not stay open, door was difficult to close, exit stairs were external to building so only option was elevator.

Again use this hotel for last minute deal or as a fall back.
