The hotel has a convenient location, just a few minutes drive from the car rental area of Miami airport and a free shuttle if you prefer that (we did not use the shuttle).
The lobby looks nice for such an Hotel and also outside seems wel maintained. The room is just OK, beds a bit on the hard side. In the lobby there is a Starbucks wich is great for breakfast.
We had an issue at checkin. We had a package including free parking and free wifi, but the lady at checkin said that such a package does not exist. Since I was tiered from the intercontinental flight we went to bed. The day after I went back down to discuss it, but the friendly man at the desk knew about the packages and solved it.
The biggest issue was the hallway to our room was not clean at all. There was a door to some kind of appliance room open at arrival and still open at check-out. It looked a bit messy. The carpet in the hallway and near the elivator was not clean either.
For one night before or after a flight the hotel is OK if you can get a good deal, but I expect better cleaning from Marriott and better than mediocre rooms.
