“Dreadful!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

Overnight stay before a cruise. I've stayed in some bad hotels before but thought this 2 Star listed, would be ok for a night. WRONG!!!!! Hallways very dirty, room old and run down. Carpets threadbare, sink did not drain and looked like there was mold growing in the shower! If our flight hadn't arrived so late, we would have packed up and gone to a different place. HOW IN THE WORLD IS THIS A 2 STAR HOTEL???? Very disapointing experience.

“Excellent for the price...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 January 2012

I rated the hotel excellent because for the price and value this place was right on. We stayed here one night because of a layover in Miami, with a family of four (including a toddler and a grandparent).

Here is why Goldilocks would call this hotel "just right":
*Staff was friendly and the shuttle picked us up as needed
*the room was clean (sheets clean, shower/bathroom clean, towels clean, carpet clean, kitchen area clean)
*carpet vacuumed and neat
*kitchen area clean (fridge and sink tidy)
*beds and pillows comfortable
*breakfast was very simple (bagels, cream cheese, bread, coffee, juice)
*AC worked well
*pool area very nice (I wish we could have taken advantage of it)

So for one night - who in their right mind would pay more than $80? When you think about it, running a place like this costs money (overhead, staff, taxes, power, gasoline for the van, laundry etc.). These days, $80 provides simple and appropriate accommodations, nothing more.

For another $50+ you can stay elsewhere. Having traveled in many places, backpacked/camped, I would be more than comfortable staying here for a week even. But to each his own, I suppose.

“Not the best hotel in Miami”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 January 2012

This hotel is close to the airport and offer free shuttle nd free internet in common area, not in the rooms. The room is really old, the carpet, the walls and bathroom is not great and the AC has a terriblle noise.... The swimming pool is busy and noisy too... My advice is try to find something better surround.

“Dispoint!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 December 2011

The room is big, but it's not very clean, we weren't really care cause only one night. The wifi is available only at the lobby, but it was also ok.

When I asked an old guy at front desk about shopping mall, he presented the lady next door, this lady asked 12$ each one way to go to Dolphine Mall, I mentioned Masy's, she said it was international Mall which was very closed the DM, so I discussed the price about 10$, she said ok, and told me: we could take shuttle bus from DM to the airport for 2$, than take the hotle shuttle to come back. She droped us off in front of MACY'S, and said DM just opposite the MACY'S. My mother is a disability, this lady just told us to cross the street, but the truth is from macy's to DM at least 4 bus stops, very far, it was impossible to walk. We spended 5$ to take the taxi to arrive, than I asked the information, they told us $10 from DM TO AIRPORT! This lady is so material!

The 2nd day, we wanted go out, and put our bagages at front desk, we thought NORMAL HOTEL SHOULD HAVE THE SERVICE OF KEEPING THE LAGAGES FOR THE CLIENTS, but AIRWAYS inn doesn't have this service, the menager is a very young girl, she refused us to keep our bagages, sorry is not enough, she said they didn't put this service on the internet, but it's the basic service of the hotel!

I won't never, ever come back to this hotel, maybe even Miami, very dispoint here, hotel, people, and the airline. very bad experience!

Room Tip: The equipments in room are very old, like the lamp, the TV.

I refused three other room they tried to give us on the nasty side. We didn't have any choice because they already charged our card prior to arrival so we had to up-grad at a cost to us, the room was very nice but then it happen water dripping from vent over my toilet it was brown and nasty when we called the front desk they refuse to send any one to help us,but offered towels to wip it up .They wouldn't even give us some cleansupply to clean off the toilt. Run dont stay at this place BIG SCAMMMMM

Room Tip: just tell them you want the right side across from the pool but you still run a risk, because they a...
