This Courtyard, though large, has an extremely friendly staff who really take an interest in their guests. The rooms are very pleasant, and there's a good fitness center and a large pool, shared with the adjacent Marriott. The food is the one uninspired touch, but there are some good, inexpensive restaurants within a five-minute walk. The airport shuttle service is first rate. The place is run by an amiable, experienced manager named Jerry, who is a credit to the organization.

I stayed here after my flight had issues so I drove to this Courtyard to catch another flight the next day. I only stayed one night but the front staff was very helpful. The room was clean and we brought our own food and used the microwave that was in the lobby. It did seem very busy but you could tell the front desk staff was trying their best to accomodate everyone. We have one toddler, so we shared a king size bed but if you were traveling with older or more kids, I would definitely choose a double queen, even though the couch folds out into a bed in the room we stayed in. It was close to the airport and very convenient and easy to get to. We had a rental car but they do offer complimentary shuttle to the airport.

I have traveled to many Hotels for overnight stays near the airport and this visit was very good. Its a big complex of Marriott Hotels - we arrived around 1am from a delayed flight, staff were very nice and helpful and the rooms were above average for what you pay. We had two double and the beds were very comfortable. Washrooms were above average.

I would definitely return on my next overnight stay or for business travel.

We stayed at the Courtyard South on a layover on our way to South America. I was expecting just an ok hotel to use just to sleep and get breakfast. We were more than pleasantly surprised. This hotel is in a Marriott "compound" with a Courtyard, Marriott, Springhill Suites and Residence Inn all in one area and all within walking distance. The Courtyard has a nice Grill and the steakhouse in the Marriott is just across the parking lot. The hotel seems to be just newly renovated. Everything felt and looked brand new and the check in staff was pleasant and efficient. Our room was large with a king bed, sofa and flat screen TV. Our room was on the top floor, the 10th floor. We were advised by someone in the elevator that on the 10th floor you can hear the planes, which we did, so if you're a light sleeper you might want a lower floor. We were so exhausted that it didn't even phase us. The breakfast was quite good but slightly pricy. There is a continental and full breakfast buffet but all the food was good and fresh, especially the fruit. It's worth it just for the convenience and beats trying to eat at the airport. Anytime we have a layover in Miami and need an airport hotel we will ALWAYS be staying here.
