“Great Conference at Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

I traveled here for a work conference. I arrived with other coworkers at 10am and surprisingly our rooms were ready. The resort is beautiful, but it is that traditional luxury look that is becoming dated in general. The conference services team executed a perfect conference.

My room was appointed nicely. The beds were very comfortable and maybe the best I slept in all year. Forget Starwood's Heavenly Bed. The bed at this Ritz is 100x times better.

My interactions with all staff was met with a smile.

“An excellent choice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

I get to the Miami area periodically for business and have stayed here 3 times. This is a great choice. The only drag is the construction on the road in front of the hotel makes it nearly impossible to get in the place.

Once inside, no worries. I would highly recommend this Ritz.

Room Tip: Watch out for the construction on the road in front of the hotel.

Dear intrepidtravelerfla,

Thank you for sharing your experience with the TripAdvisor community. The construction in front of the hotel can be confusing at times. The best way to get to the property is to travel East of 27th avenue from US1. The city has informed us that both sides of the road will be open February 17, 2012, just in time for the Coconut Grove Arts Festival. We look forward to welcoming you back to our property shortly.

Kind Regards,

“This is a first class property with world class service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

I attended a small conference at this hotel and was much impressed with the character and service at the hotel. First, it's big enough to have all of the niceties of a great hotel without being one of those sprawling monstrosities with a half mile walk from room to lobby.
Once you step out of your cab, the fabulous service begins - the bellmen, front desk and even the housekeeping staff greeted you with a smile and willingness to help in any way possible.
For those of you planning a trip for vacation - be warned, this is not a beach property. The water is a couple of blocks away and even that isn't really a beach. The area around the hotel has dozens of great restaurants, bars and shops.
And my final comment - I find it absolutely rediculous that a hotel of this class would find they must "nick" their customers for an additional ten bucks for internet service. It would seem that somewhere in the operating costs of a 300+ a night room you could squeeze out the few cents required to maintain the internet.

“Wow. Stay here !”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

I arrived today and met wonderful front desk staff on my arrival.

Two really nice guys who gave me an upgrade to a suite, which I am so grateful for.
I flew 23 hours from Singapore for a 2 day work conference.

I sent pictures to my wife...back at home with 3 kids in Singapore...oopppss

Just a nice feeling hotel. We had a work function in the outside terrace area tonight which everyone felt bad about because they put on this wonderful food and almost everyone had already eaten beforehand.

The female host was very inviting. Sorry folks. It was excellent though. My mother
would have scolded all of us !!

Stay here...Seriously.

It is Ritz Carlton standard.

The staff here at Ritz Carton Coconut Grove should be proud.

Nice work guys,,,see you again soon - and our next conference WILL BE HERE !

I promise.

Room Tip: Be nice. The hotel staff here are great people.. Enjoy life.

Dear JetsetterinAsia,

Thank you for sharing your “Wow Story” with us and the TripAdvisor community. We understand how tired you must be after, what may feel like, a flight that never ends. I am glad that the two gentlemen were able to provide you with the finest accommodations we have to offer. We also appreciate the pictures of the suite that you posted. The suite is typical sold for an additional $150 per night and as you know is a great value. We look forward to the next time you stay with us and bring your wife and three kids.

“A great hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 January 2012

We stayed here for 2 nights in January, and loved the hotel - from the friendly and efficient service at check-in, the always present and helpful valets, the spacious, clean and pleasant room and the delicious breakfast. It is located in the quiet and pleasant Coconut grove, just minutes from Brickell.

Room Tip: We stayed in an executive suite, a truly excellent room with spacious sitting and dining area, a des...
