My family and I normally stay with Staybridge when we travel, so when I found one in Miami, I had to book it no matter the cost. This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. This was a pre-cruise stay and we did NOT get off on a 'good foot'! The rooms are tiny, old and falling apart. Our toilet did not work, so we had to wait on a maintenance employee to come fix it, was not even offered another room. The pictures shown on the website are NOTHING like what is in person. I would not recommend this hotel to no one. I am beginning to think that the hotels in Miami are all horrible.

I brought my wife and daughter on a business trip and Staybridge offers suites at a very reasonable price. The location is behind a Holiday Inn and the hotel was bit hard to find since signs at the Holiday Inn direct you to the left where it's quite easy to not see the hotel and drive rightt into an office complex.

Our king suite was large and comfortable but lack of flat screen TV was a bit of a let down. AC units very noisy and did interrupt everyone's sleep. The hotel is near the airport and is right on the flight path of many incoming flights. I've seen complaints about plane noise and although I did hear some air traffic I did not find it disturbing.

The Internet connection in the room was extremely slow. A co-worker who also stayed here experienced the same issue. On my last night it seemed a little better but was basically not usable during my stay.

The breakfast was complimentary and was very well stock and included fruit, breads, eggs (cooked and hard boiled).

The hotel staff did not seem to know the area very well when asked for directions or restaurants.

All in all a good stay but not sure if I'd return.

Arrived at the airport 9 P.M. and called for pick up. The driver pulls in front of the Holiday inn 945 P.M. [part of the same property] and told me I will be staying here instead. Clerk at Holiday Inn told me my Staybridge room was flooded so they moved me over here. I took the room on protest and walked next door to the Staybridge. The very rude man out front told us the room was flooded. There were no water or flood damage vehicles out there. My wife asked if they overbooked so they call it a flood problem and the man rudely said yes. He then asked if we had booked on Priceline. My wife told him no it was on Hotwire. The man said call them with my complaints then. Hotwire offered to place us at another hotel after their talk with the same rude man. By then it was after 10 P.M. and needed to get up for a cruise in the morning. We stayed next door at the Holiday Inn and Hotwire compensated us for the problem. Terrible service and a terrible way to start a vacation.

Needed a one night's stay before a cruise and discovered this hotel online. Reviews were consistently good and the Entertainment rate was a steal so couldn't pass up. Good thing we didn't as this turned out to be a perfect pre-cruise stay.

Called the hotel upon our arrival at the airport and they said a shuttle would be by to pick us up in 15 minutes. Well, 15 minutes later the shuttle came, which was a pleasant surprise given the fact that the hotel usually only does pickups once per hour, on the hour.

Hotel is located 10-15 minutes away in a quiet area next to a Holiday Inn Express. Was greeted by a friendly front desk clerk who provided us with a welcome bag of water and chips for belonging to their reward program. N/S Room was huge with a kitchen area, sitting area, and a king bed.

There is a great restaurant bar located just outside the hotel and the complimentary breakfast offered in the hotel is more than adequate with both hot items (eggs, some spam-like hash, waffles) and cold (yogurt, cereals, breads/pastries, fruit). Finding free tables was not a problem. Free internet is also available on 2 computers in their business centre.

For those looking for an inexpensive, yet quality, place to stay short-term near the airport, this hotel is perfect. The free airport shuttle is convenient and cost-saving, and the taxi to the cruise terminal was less than $40 without tip. A super deal overall!
