Stayed at this motel night of Feb 5 prior to cruise next day. The website says it has undergone a megabuck renovation but saw no evidence of that. The room was shabby, reeked of disinfectant & my partner started itching shortly after getting on the sheets. The staff is absolutely lacking in any customer service skills & Rodeway should address this if they care about image. Asked about port shuttle during check in & agent acted bothered & he said "You don't want me to mistakenly charge you $1000, do you?" Free coffee was included so next morning ask desk agent where is the coffee & she pointed to adjoining restaurant. So went to restaurant & they say you need voucher from front desk agent! Duh? OK, to be totally fair this is Miami & price is lower than other motels & have no complaints about the shuttle & driver. But be forewarned, the rooms & staff are terrible!
