I am a business man on a small trip to finish a deal and ended up picking up business on the way and really fell in love with the hotel and team the runs it! With the central location to pleasure and business and we ended staying with the Holiday Inn Viera 7 months. We spent Thanksgiving! , Christmas!, New Years! and Easter! I forgot to say also Steelers vs. Packers Super Bowl. I know what your thinking...but with the convenience and quality of the hotel from our room bed to the rendezvous dining and did I mention the price. I just looked at my loved one and said "Honey lets just enjoy ourselves". The most lucrative and stress free business year ever!

I have stayed in many holiday inns across the country and this is one of the worst. When we tried to check in here the desk clerk was very rude and repeatedy lied to us.

We reserved this hotel on hotwire and arrived very late at night. The desk clerk was on the phone would not help us. Finally, after 20 min he looked up our reservation and then refused to give us a room because all he had was the higher category rooms and he didn't feel we had paid a high enough price for them. Hotwire does not specify a room category. After much arguing we agreed to pay him full price for the room. He then changed his story and said he didn't have any rooms and we should leave.

It was very late and all other hotels in the area were full. So we called back to the Holiday Inn and rerserved a full price room, under a name from someone else in our group, from the same desk clerk. So, he really did have rooms after all and had just lied to us.

The room, when we got it, was nothing special. Our $300 suite was a very average, well worn room with a sofa bed in it to make it a "suite." We were very unhappy with our experience here and received a full refund from hotwire.

Expensive rate. Free in room internet with no passwords required. No refrigerator in the room. Outside pool. No free breakfast. We stayed here for the last launch of the space shuttle and it was good. There were no other places to stay - we booked on priceline and got one of the last rooms available. The hotel computer was malfunctioning and a couple other guests in the line in front of us booked online were told they had no rooms left even though they booked and paid. For twohundred a night the room was not pristine but was reasonably clean. We did get a free upgrade to a suite. The pool could use some maintenance - floor area and chairs were dirty, the pool itself needs some paint and there is NO monitoring of who comes and goes and no keys required. People are allowed to smoke poolside and that was annoying and I noticed there was the smell of smoke in many places in the building. Overall, a good place if you get a better rate than we did.

My family of four stayed here for two nights while attending Washington Nationals games during Spring Training. I don't know how well this hotel works for those interested in the beach. But it was convenient to the stadium, with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Room wasn't upscale, but it was clean and adequate for a few nights. Staff was friendly and helpful.
