I booked a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom room in Melbourne mid-December for my mom and I when attending my son's graduation in Melbourne. (Was expecting a couple other family members to attend but at last minute they could not.) We could not have been happier with this room. It was so nice to have the second bathroom for each of us getting ready. I could hardly get my mom to leave this hotel to continue our travels to beachside because they staff at the front desk were so helpful and kind all the time. We loved the patio area outside and the attractive palm trees and plants by the pool. We enjoyed the breakfast and that coffee was nearly always available in the lobby. The living/dining area was comfortable for entertaining or just eating/watching tv. This was my second stay here and it is close to shopping, FIT and restaurants as well as just a short ride to the beach. You have a great staff here because the rooms are clean and the front desk staff is exceptional.

We have stayed here ~3-4 times and the staff is excellent. Very friendly, In Dec. 2011, we arrived late, the front desk clerk was all smiles, and she had honored my request to move us to a 2 bedroom if it became available.

The rooms are spacious, normal Residence Inn with a kitchen, updated decor. Housekeeping the old fashioned way, you come back to a fresh room after a long day. Breakfast was great, hot buffet choices each morning, plus the waffle iron, or yogurt, etc... lots of choices.

We went to Orlando first and this hotel is such a welcome change of pace. We will definitely go back, its a good way to see family, drive to the beach, then have our own little place to go at night.

This is a typical newer Residence. Everything was perfect -- from the very friendly check-in person to the super-clean, very spacious room. I had a 1 bedroom suite and it was very big. 2 TV's, big living area, fully-equipped kitchen, and a very comfy, firm bed with wonderful pillows. Loved everything about it. Oh, and great full buffet breakfast in the morning. You can eat inside or outside by the pool. And, there's a beautiful fireplace in the lobby. Great place!

LOCATION: This location is pretty central. It's close to the little downtown area (about 10 minutes away). Close to the mall (again, 10 minutes the other way). And, it's about a 15 minute drive (over the causeway) to the beautiful beach (Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge). And, the airport is about 5 minutes away. Across the street (walking distance), there is a supermarket and a couple other little strip-mall type stores. There are several restaurants and fast food joints all around.

We were not expecting this place to be as good as it turned out. The front desk person was very efficient and pleasant. The room was a suite which had a magnificent layout. The hotel is only 3 years old and it seemed to even be newer than that as everything was well taken care of and appeared clean and fresh. The free morning breakfast was quite nice. The housekeeping was topnotch. It is obviously well managed and we would highly recommend it.
