My husband and I checked in on May 6 after 6:00pm before we started our beach vacation and the front desk person was very helpful and friendly. Our room was fine and no complaints about cleanliness. True, they didn't have coffee or filters, but they do offer it downstairs. Would stay there again.

Room was very small, bedding did fit bed properly, no coffee filters-we were told guests expected to bring their own, bathroom floor was dirty-a Q-tip was on the floor, one small bar of soap for 2 nights, no dish detergent or dish cloth, no toaster, very old TV-could no hook-up a DVD player, frig was a small hotel size-not an apartment size, front desk closed from 11pm-7am. Very disappointed--NOT Suburban Quality. This hotel is NOT recommended.

The hotel is so old and desperately needs updating. We got into our room and the first thing we saw were bugs in the bathroom and kitchen area. As soon as we turned on the light, they all scattered. I grabbed our things and my daughter and ran out of the hotel. From what I did see, all the appliances and bedding have not been changed since the 70's. We ended up staying at a different hotel and never looked back. We will never stay at this hotel again!

Front desk clerks very pleasant and helpful. Had to change rooms after discovering one of the double beds was unchanged with head & pubic hair still in it. The third floor has a cafeteria foul food smell with a smokey humid & stale air all thru the hallway. Bathroom door had splatters of who knows what and behind the door on the floor had not been swept or cleaned in a while.
Has all the basics but what's a coffee maker without coffee. The beds are very hard, second room beds were better. Housekeeping needs to be retrained, reveiwed, watched over or fired.
Price is right if on a tight budget abd you get what you pay for here. Location good to most everything. Needs a face lift and updated furniture, bedspreads without holes and new carpet.
Thought about going to the Hilton next door but funds were tight. Enough said. Stay again NOT!
