I was in town for business and spent two weeks at this property which is enough time to learn about a place. I have a lot of particular needs for my business (Television ) and the team went above and beyond trying to please us. Some of our gear was being sent to us but arrived late and so one gentleman at the front desk (Chris, I think) managed to find stands we could use to set up a back drop for interviews - and he constantly offered help and advice. Brian (night manager I think) is a charming and diligent guy and dealt with our very fussy and particular needs with a great deal of attention and grace. From the cleaners, to Priscilla in sales, people worked very hard to make our stay and work at the hotel easier. I seldom have never had hotel staff be so helpful. Much better service than I usually get with a large chain. People called me by name, which is more the kind of thing I get with boutique hotels.
My room was super clean, the view is crazy amazing - you almost feel like you're on a ship so close are you to the ocean.
My laments: The internet isn't stable. depending on which room you're in, it may not work at all.
The elevators are also very slow. There was nearly always a crowd gathered at the ground floor waiting as a result and you might not get the first one or two. It's worth it to get rooms on floor two or three so if you forget your sunglasses, you can simply skip up a flight or two - not fifteen.
Across the street is a Walmart, Dollarstore and a Winn Dixie so if you forgot anything, you're certainly covered.
