Great hotel, VERY CLEAN, and updated to the highest standards. The help was extremely friendly. Would recommen this to anyone.

I have had the pleasure of staying at the Melbourne Fairfield Inn and Suites for over 2 months on business and have to say it has been a true pleasure. The staff there are fastastic and no matter what my needs are they seem to know in advance and have it ready for me ASAP.
Grace, the General Manager, seems to sleep there-although I know she has a house with a husband in it somewhere!; Barbara, Jessica and Rosario at the front desk are ready to meet your every need; Susan in the breakfast room, has even opened the kitchen after closing to get me something because I was too busy to get down there in time; and Rene and her housekeeping staff go above and beyond all the time.
If you are ever in the Space Coast area, I highly recommend you stay at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Melbourne. As Barbara says, you'll have a Marvelous Monday, Terrific Tuesday, Wonderful Wednesday....you get the idea!

We had a sudden change of plans that led us to book a 1 day stay. It was surprisingly beyond our expectations. The room was quite nice, the front desk was very friendly. My wife wants to know what shampoo it was there. Rooms were very clean & tidy.
Internet connection was great. We needed 4 connections, no problem.
We were able to hold our bags a few hrs so we could see a matinee movie before our next destination.

We called last minute over the holidays for a suite that accepts pets, and they gave us a lovely room (suites are only on upper floors, and only for non-pet people:-), and the staff bent over backwards to make our two-night stay wonderful. The decor is modern and fresh, the rooms quiet and comfy, the breakfast yummy (fresh waffles every morning, tons of low-cal options, GREAT coffee!), and everyone who works there is friendly, upbeat and accommodating. It would have been nice to have a bit more room for two adults, two kids and a Pomeranian, but being on the ground floor did make it much easier to take the dog out for walks. The location right next to a huge movie theatre is ideal for kids, though we adults would have liked to be closer to town. All in all, this is a hotel we'd stay in again in a heartbeat. Plus, if you want to explore the beaches of Melbourne, the Kennedy Space Center or adorable historic downtown Melbourne, all of the above are nearby and easy to get to. The staff also led us to a fun Irish pub downtown, as we hate chain restaurants and wanted an authentic experience. We got it in spades, and the hotel folks even gave us a coupon for 10 percent off our lunch. They doted on the kids, the dog and were so pleasant in every interaction. The best road find in a good long while!
