Outstading location great hostess and convienient to the island. Just wish we would have stayed longer

I'll admit that I'm old enough to remember the Motels and Motor Lodges of a previous generation, so it's with a touch of nostalgia that I write this review. The Boat House Motel could use some updating, but overdoing it would potentially spoil its charm as a comfortable location from which one can explore all that Marco Island has to offer. The rooms were spacious, the amenities more than adequate (free wireless internet, refrigerator, microwave, etc.), and the location perfect. After awhile, the ubiquitous turquoise paint grows on you...

Nice place and very friendly owner ! 3 kids and parents were able to comfortably fit into one room. Nice pool. Would definitely return to the Boathouse !

We just completed a 6 night stay at the Boathouse. Have been to Marco several times and did not know it was there but am very glad we discovered it. The rooms are large and comfortable and the location in Old Marco is great for walking. It is on a canal with docks and waterside deck which are also great amenities.

It's bones are an old motor lodge but the owners are really upgrading the physical plant and are the most accommodating innkeepers you will encounter, willing to provide guidance on any aspect of your visit.

We had a great trip to Marco and the Boathouse played a significant role in that.
