My future husband and I came here Dec 10 thru the 18 it was a pleasure staying here Karen was VERY INFORMATIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! she is great!!!!!!!!! grant you the beds are hard but had a great night sleeping! atmosphere is great it was everything we thought it would be wicker furniture was very comfortable its Florida thats the style ! Dont know why people are giving it bad reviews we are definitly would stay here again I am gonna tell everyone I know this is the place to stay affordable, great atmosphere and pricing of course its not your home but it is very comfortable you are only sleeping here much to see WE LOVE IT!!!!!! This place has seen better days. Bed was like sleeping on the floor and sheets felt like sandpaper. We did not use the restaurant/cafe on site--seemed too dated and stuffy for us. Hot tub was barely hot but at least was usable; pretty pool area but maintenance issues are apparent.Big drawback was having to drive to the beach and is really too far to bike (had been our plan). But both of the beaches are very nice, lots of shelling--just a drawback that you have to pack to the beach and cannot just go on a whim or without the rest of your party. Location around Marco Inn good with lots of restaurants-shopping not so good.Resort kind of feels like it is caught in a time warp and needs major updating. But all amenities are there: full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, etc so if you can get over the fact that it feels like your in 1970, you'll be fine.

I took my Stepfather to see the Everglades and since Marco Island was close decided to visit the Island. Other reviewers were right. They place is very run down. The beds are very hard and quality of sheets, towels etc is quite low. Next time I will stay at one of the privately rented condos in the area, this was a disapointment. I will say the staff was very nice but really unable to help with very much in the short time they are on the premises. The room was mostly clean but my socks were also black after walking on the carpets in the bedrooms and the elevator got stuck quite a few times when we got on, it would just sit there without moving. If you are only staying a few days there aren't a lot of choices but I suggest staying away from this one.

The unit was clean except for some ants that contaminated the special cupcakes we bought and left on the counter overnight.The furniture very dated furniture (wicker), kitchen was not well stocked. There were no services at the complex.. The pool was acceptable but again do not expect any services. The bathroom near the pool was unsatisfactory. There were no linen service other than clean towels replacement only on Wednesday. Based on the experience I can't recommend this place to go. It needs lots of repairs and updating. When we checked in the office closed at 6:00p.m. The unit key was in a lock box.which found unusual.There was no catamaran as advertised in Frommers Travel site. Some of the reviews seemed written by the condo owners in my opinion. The mattresses were like sleeping on boards and very uncomfortable!!!
