My family and I have stayed at the Marco Island Marriott over Christmas four years in a row. We love the ocean view, the beautiful Christmas tree in the foyer each year, and of course the selection of activities available. The casual restaurant downstairs offers an amazing buffet, but we were disappointed it was not available for dinner. Only breakfast and lunch. Also, was a little bummed that there was no family New Years Eve celebration planned at the hotel. The rooms were clean, and housekeeping was very prompt. Shopping, movies, and restaurants are just a short walk away. We always enjoy our stay and realize that even though the rooms are pricey, the view is worth it!

Just got back from a stay last week at this resort. Quality and consistency are just what you would expect from Marriott brand. As with all resort areas things are always higher than urban areas.
Spa was excellent and grounds are well maintained and staff friendly. We didn't have issue with Internet charge since husbands business negotiated that into their contract.
Did not eat anything but breakfast and lunch on property but lots of restaurants within walking or cab fare on island is under $10 anywhere on island.
Would return to this resort even if we had to pay full price.

I cannot say enough good about this hotel. Great everything. The room numbers are quite confusing though. Make sure you get the right tower and elevator. We did expect queen beds though. Not full.

Beautiful beach, very nice staff, the usual comfortable Marriott rooms.
Great spot for families who aren't looking for much nightlife. The coffee shop is amazing but we we'rent too impressed with the restaurants.
