I stayed at this Sheraton for a bowl game. The location was good for business downtown, but with I4 traffic getting to the theme park areas was a drag!

PROs: nice, clean rooms, Comfy beds, hotel bar was lively, stayed on the concierge floor with free breakfast and happy hour

CONs: they gave us a handicap room - yes I could have asked to switch, but given some issues with rooms being ready at check-in I didn't push it. Location for theme parks was a bit far. I stayed here for business before and it was fine since the office park was right there.

Attractive Sheraton in a nice area of metro Orlando. Reasonably priced for the property type, and nice amenities. The pool is much better than other nearby hotels, and the lobby area and restaurant are attractive. Our room was fine-- thick drapes and a clean bathroom were appreciated, along with the flat screen TV and most comfortable king bed. Free, easy parking is a plus. Generally a nice hotel ,, but not pretentious.

My only "less than positive" comment was that the checkout line was long, and we had to wait to receive our copy of the invoice... seems old fashioned!

This hotel is very convenient to Winter Park, Rollins College, Altamonte Springs, and other northern suburbs of Orlando. None of the commotion of the Disney/ Theme Park side of town, but still not too far away.

Back for our yearly family/business visit to Maitland area, and our 6th or so stay at Sheraton North. Carpet upgrade in common halls is biggest change visible; looks like some cosmetic touchups to rooms/furnishings. Beds are comfortable, and sleep (on club floor/inner room) very quiet. Starbuck is lobby is gone, but coffee kiosk serving Starbuck's brand is there. Didn't use restaurant; exercise equipment has increased in the same area as previous. This makes for more options but quite crowded in smallish space.
Front desk hit and miss; some associates quite helpful and accomodating (late checkout, etc.); others not very much and unable to 'color outside the lines'. Price for room is upper limits for this property, even with some discounts. I suspect there will be competition in area soon and more price pressure on the Sheraton. Still much room for improvement but holding its own with some progress since last visit in 2011.
We stay mainly in Starwood hotels and small inns, both in US and abroad, and this Sheraton is average or slightly below compared to other Sheraton properties, IMO.

Stayed here as a family for fun... not the best for this tbh. lovely hotel but suits business trips more i believe. had to drive a distance to visit anywhere.
