We just spent the Valentine Holiday at the Thurston House, and we absolutely loved it! The location is great! We enjoyed being only 5 minutes away from the Winter Park area, close to some amazing restaurants, and only a couple of minutes away from the Enzian Theater. Carole and Joe, the innkeepers, were great hosts and the attention to detail is what makes this place unique. We walked into our room with rose petals, a small gift, and chocolate. Carole was great with giving us all the information we needed and you can tell she really loves, and cares for the Thurston House. It was very clean, and the breakfast in the morning will leave you wanting more! If you are ever in the need to escape from it all, you should really consider the Thurston House.

We wanted a couple of days to relax before attending a conference in Orlando, so we booked two nights in the red O'Heir room with a lake view. It was a perfect way to wind down. Carole and Joe are the ultimate hosts, attending to every detail and anticipating what we might need or want. Carole's breakfasts were creative, delicious and varied. Sitting in a rocker on the screened porch for afternoon wine, crackers and delicious grapes is a wonderful memory. We are grateful for the excellent local restaurants and museums that Carole recommended, complete with directions and maps. Thurston House is highly recommended!

The Thurston House B&B was a great find. It is the only B&B that is very close to Winter Park. The hosts where great. There was wine and cheese in the afternoon, good recommendations for dinner, a good home cooked full breakfast and lovely accommodations.
