Arrived on Christmas day for one night. Hotel rooms is very clean, The halls have a slight smell of cooking odor as there are kitchens in the suites. I would recommend having candles in the front desk or air freshners for the smell. Besides that everything was clean and for one night it served it's purpose.

all the furnitures look like from the thrift store. the toilet water kept on running after first flush. the air duct was thick of dust, blew out dusty air. window was unable to be opened more than few inches. most of all, the suite was supposedly non-smoking but smelled heavily of cigarette smoke.
when we complained, they originally promised us a free night. however, in the morning, they denied and threatened to call police.
they made our christmas vacation miserable.
do not stay here or any homewood suites. we originally made reservation 8 miles away neighboring homewood suites for 4 nights, but they gave our room to people who decided to extend their stay and sent us to this Maitland homewood suites.
we stayed only few hours from after-midnight through 8AM. could not sleep all night because of the terrible odor and poor conditions. everybody got sick due to the poor air circulation.

This is what I'm talking about! Our suite was plenty big, included two flat screen TV's, a fully equipped kitchen, and some nice extra touches like plenty of pillows and a corkscrew - later to come in handy. The good news is there is an Appleby's and a 7-11 within easy walking distance, so you can either eat out at the restaurant or pick up some franks and beans and whip up something in the room. The bad news is there is ONLY and Appleby's and a 7-11 for God only knows how far. There doesn't appear to be anything else for miles around. At least nothing your going to walk to.

Spent two nights at the Homewood Suites Orlando North in Maitland, Florida this Thanksgiving Day weekend. It's been recently updated so is hip and young with a fresh look. It's located in a business park so was quiet because of the holiday weekend. The general manager and his staff are very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The manager left a laminated note on the bed welcoming us, giving guests his email address and letting us know that he really oversees a quality run hotel. The place was spotless from the rooms, the breakfast area, elevator and workout room. Great price for a suite hotel. We arrived early on Thanksgiving day (around noon) and before heading to friends for dinner, wanted to check in which they allowed with out us having to wait until 3:00. Definitely will recommend to others and we will stay there again.
