From the moment you turn onto the long driveway that curves by horse paddocks and palm trees, you are overwhelmed by the understated beauty of nature that surrounds the inn. Furthermore, we were shown the greatest hospitality from everyone who works there from our very first entrance to the inn. We were greeted in the parking lot, given a tour of the property, which includes an island gazebo centered in a huge koi filled pond, and shown to our room where the accomodations were outstanding. The rooms are clean and spacious, yet cozy, and the beds are great! Breakfast was comfortingly casual, we helped ourselves to coffee, tea, hot chocolate or any other beverage you could ask for. There was a different fresh homemade bread every morning and fresh fruit, in addition to cereals and baked goods. The owner is so friendly and helpful in helping us plan our day around different town activities. The groundskeeper also goes above and beyond to be sure we enjoyed our stay. We were so appreciative for all their insight and ideas on where to go and what to do. However, the setting of Southern Palm is so perfect, you may find yourself not wanting to go anywhere at all...
