Me and my friend are french tourist,the owner want everytime to charge you for something what you are not responsable,he is agressive, money fanatic,never refund.
he broke a chanel perfum on my room (because he enters everytime without the permission of the tourist... he don't have any respect!) when tou try to speak to him,he doesn't listen you just says: if you are not happy,you can go! or you better leave my office or i call the police! the room is not good, many bugs ,coackruch,horrible. nothing is free of charche,you have to pay for clean your clothes,fo use the phone,for use the safe... everything... DONT GO IN THIS HOTEL, YOU WILL HAVE SOME REAL TRAVELS...

Infested with tiny ants in everything. Leave any food open in kitchen for 5 minutes and it is infested. Huge air conditioner in kitchen cools kitchen only, we had a large fan to move the cool air into the bedroom. Still not enough. Bathroom small and antique. Management cold and unresponsive. Maybe the ants are a Florida thing but I'm sure something could be done. Rugs should be stripped out and replaced with tile.

Bring boxing gloves. The owners are without a doubt the worst people in the service industry. Don't know how they manage to survive but I suspect they manage mainly on overflow business..... when all others are already booked. We had a confirmed room at the place ( paid for up front ) on Feb. 7, 2010 as we were going on a cruise the next day. Delta Air had delayed us throughout the day due to mechanical and air regulation problems, starting in Thunder Bay, Canada, and continuing thru Minneapolis and Detroit. We had our flights schedules changed 3 times. When we finally arrived at the hotel in Fort Lauderdale at 1 am., all lights were off and it was closed. We had nowhere to go. I tried 2 times to phone the ' service ' number listed on the door. The fellow who answered denied being the owner of the hotel . He was very rude . It was a case of you are on your own. We lost the hotel money but found a good hotel a block and a half down the road. I went to see him the next morning.... no refund.... and more rudeness from him as well as his wife. Good luck if you ever consider this place.

I was in the neighborhood looking for another hotel and had an unfortunate encounter with the person at the front desk. He rudely said he doesn't know the address I was looking for and that I should go to the information booth nearby. Now, if he is really running a business as mentioned in the several of the "management representative" posts, I may have booked a room right there. I'm very surprised at the person's attitude towards customers that they are still in business for 20+ years! There are several hotels in the neighborhood, so take my advice and don't patronize this hotel or you will end up having a terrible time dealing with the people running this hotel.
