we got to the hotel on a late friday night, and the key was right where the attendant said it would be. Opening the door to the front you are hit with a stale, musty odor that knocks you over.
the room was described to me by the person on the phone as able to "walk out onto the beach". there was NO ACCESS to the beach from our room, it was down the hall. My daughter and i wrestled with the key to open the door and found the room, cold and the decor, so dated.
the 4 poster bed, covered with a quilt, and the very tiny couch reeked of that musty old odor.the tile floor was supposed to be white, but a rusty stain was EVERYWHERE.
we slept with the lights on , and I slept on top of the quilt, due to the VERY QUESTIONABLE SMELL coming from that as well. all night, i was fighting rolling toward the middle, as the mattress sank in the middle.
We slept with the light on, fearful of what would come out with the lights off, and in the morning, we had to juggle with the key to even, GET OUT.
This "quaint B and B", is so over-rated, and the "B", is horrible, and there was no second "B". we ended up going to the pancake house for breakfast.
