If you choose this hotel, you should understand you are not paying for a beautiful room or gracious hotel staff. You are paying for access-access to the beach-which is RIGHT outside your door, and access to the main drag of Lauderdale By The Sea, which is an 8 minute walk. This place could definitely use a paint job, but I found my room to be more than adequate. The maid staff were wonderful-friendly and helpful, but the young woman at the check in was sour and obnoxious. It's a pity the owners of Little Inn don't seem to grasp that this person, in this role, is basically the hotel's marketing and PR person. Needless to say, the hotel failed in this regard. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a convenient, clean (albeit slightly rundown) motel that is in a prime location with a gorgeous beachfront. I would not recommend this hotel if you expect to be treated like a valued customer.
Perhaps the owners of this establishment will read these reviews and take corrective measures regarding their staff. Considering just how many options travelers have when it comes to similar hotels, I am surprised the owners would employ such rude and dismissive 20-somethings who talk on the phone to their friends during the check-in process and leave you standing there for minutes at a time when you need to ask a question or voice a concern.

My husband and I just returned from a 5 day stay and absolutely loved it. This little place has a lot to offer and Rachel the manager and her staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The bikes were an added bonus that we took advantage of everyday and being steps to the beach and the center of town made our trip so enjoyable. We had lots fun and will return again soon. So glad we discovered this little piece of heaven!

The location... AMAZING... the grounds... beautiful...
Walking distance to a lot of fun stuff.

We were quoted a 139.00 room rate when we booked... we were told we would be receiving an email stating our outlined stay... when we arrived we were told that 179.00 was "on our paper" we weren't even listened to that we were quoted something different. I was very upset.

I urge someone to please contact me to make this right...

There are few hotels directly on Ft. Lauderdale Beach at this time. At Lauderdale by the Sea you can find a private beach just steps away from your room!! Plus such a quiet location where you can get the peace and quiet you deserve on a vacation!! The continental breakfast was welcome, along with a good cup of coffee. The employees were most welcoming and the manager was delightful. I would visit every time I come to Fort Lauderdale.
