Went over to the front desk in Dec 2007 and booked a 1 night stay for my parents that were flying in the next evening. The next evening they attempted to checked in and I received a call from my father stating the front desk clerk had booked the wrong date and were refusing to check then in eventhough they claimed they still had rooms available.

I explained to them over the phone that my father was elderly had cancer and it was already late in the evening to please do the right thing and check them in. It was not my fault that front desk booked the wrong date. To make a long story short they got angry at my parents and literally threatened to call the police on them to get then out of the building.

I had to drive to the hotel and pick them up at 10:45pm. I pleaded and pleaded that my parents were very elderly and showed them the receipt that I had paid $77 to have them stay there that night. They basically kicked them out of the building and had them outside when I got there.

I called their corporate office 3 times to have them order the hotel to check in my parents. They just kept stating there was nothing they could do because all their hotels are independently owned. My father has since passed away from cancer and I will never forget the way he and my mom were treated that night. The corporate office never even sent me a letter of apology or any type of compensation. Do not stay here!!!! Worst hotel ever!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the best motel in Lantana. Beautiful, clean rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. I can't think of a single negative. We had been staying at another motel in Lantana, but moved to this one because the other one is under new management and is not as clean and friendly as before. I will be staying here again in the winter.

I read a couple of the reviews and really felt the need to write something good and acurate about this hotel (I have been a repeat client for over a year now). I have always been treated great and have had no problems with the room or credit card charges. Just felt that was needed to be said.

I booked and paid for my motel room a month prior to my stay. We arrived at the motel after traveling about 11 hours, to find out that the clerk at the front desk did not have a record of our reservation or payment. I had to borrow his laptop to show him the charge on my credit card bill. We ended up getting a smoking room instead of the non smoking room. The clerk gave us four room keys to check out, so we were at least able to pick a room that least offensive.

We stayed here in May of 2010 when it was still a Best Western motel. Did not have any problems at all in 2010, but will never stay here again.
