This hotel was awesome. The rates were great. The rooms were clean and extremely nice. The continental breakfast was adequate. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed there because my daughter had a soccer tournament within a few miles of the hotel. Almost the entire team decided to stay, they worked on trying to keep us all within the same vicinity room-wise! I definitely would stay here again!

Stayed at The Lake Mary La Quinta when we arrived at Sanford Airport. Didn't check in until 11:00 pm. Very friendly front desk, rooms were very large but a bit dated. Breakfast was sparce but acceptable. We stopped at a Pantera Bread when we checked out for a better breakfast.

Also stayed there 2 weeks later when returning home from Sanford Airport. The early check in was nice, but they have no business center to use so we could print out out airline tickets, even though one was advertised in the Hotel Guide in the room.

Would stay there again because of the location and great price.

This La Quinta was very nice and the rate was good especially this close to Orlando. Lots of room to walk the dogs, and very nice staff to greet us. Our only issue was I spilled water on the entrance way laminate floor in our room and when I wiped it up, the cloth was filthy. I continued to "mop" the rest of the floor and bathroom tiles, and the hand towel I used was black. Then, I used another damp towel to run across part of the carpet and found the same result. Needless to say, we kept our shoes on except for sleeping.

The rest of the room was clean, the breakfast was varied and served in the main lobby - lots of guests, but no one was hindered. I used the fitness room, and the treadmill was great. We would stay again, but keep our shoes on!

We have stayed in La Quinta's many times and have always been happy with the experience but this place doesn't live up to the name on the outside.We booked a non smoking room online and after getting to the hotel we were told no non smoking rooms were available so we had to take a smoking room.We asked for quiet room as we were really tried and were told there are no quiet parts of the hotel.After entering the room my girlfriend went to wash her hands in the bathroom and cut her finger on the sharp edge on the sink.The carpet was dirt.We had already paid for the room so we stayed the 2 nights because it already paid for but from the time we checked in a dog in another room would not stop barking for 2 days straight. I guess like someone else said beware of pet friendly hotels.The noise from the freeway was loud and non stop.The hot tub was not working the first night the second night it was but we came out after they just reopened it to find covered with leaves.After entering the elevator pushing the floor button it wouldn't go up even after a few minutes of waiting so had to open it with door open button didn't use the elevator for fear of getting stuck in it.My next visit to Lake Mary I will try another hotel this one was not up to La Quinta standards
