I have stayed over 50 nights at Hyatt Places over the past 3 years. They are largely identical which is a good thing. This one is just a bit different than the standard blueprint. I was quite pleasantly surprised by an extra large bathroom with a very large shower. Very nice indeed.

All of the rest was pretty much the same, although the outside was definitely a lot more colorful to set into this very lovely tropical setting. While not quite the same magnitude as the nearby Marriott, a very nice alternative.

The Lake Mary Hyatt Place is typical of this brand which is my first choice hotel for travel. Each room is equipped with a 42" flat screen tv that can be viewed from the bed area or the office/sitting area. There is a single cup coffee maker and small frig as well. An ample continental breakfast with Starbucks coffee is included in the room rate.The location is very conveient to I-4 and Orlando and is surrounded by several good restaurants.

My husband and I stayed here 5 nights for Christmas week to spend time with family.We have been going to Florida for the last 3 summers but staying at another hotel and had some problem. Now we went for Christmas and stayed 5 nights at the Hyatt and I have to say that is the best hotel I ever stayed at.The hotel is excellent. I loved the room,the bed,and the shower,even the breakfast was good and the coffee was delicious.We will be staying at this hotel from now on.I can't wait to go back in the summer.

I have to agree with JustinA269. My family stayed for Christmas Week as well (7 nights). We wanted to visit Disney with our small children without breaking the bank. Lake Mary is a very nice area and we were close to PLENTY of shopping, restaurants and main attractions.

Hotel staff was very nice. Rooms and entire hotel grounds were VERY clean and well taken care of at all times.
